bangercasino It’s always interesting to see how much work goes into developing better blueberry varieties. Breeding programs are not only looking at fruit size and flavor, but also traits like disease resistance, heat tolerance and suitability for mechanical harvesting. The use of genetic tools and field trials makes these updates especially interesting, as new selections can take years before becoming useful commercial varieties.
